Wanted!! NONE AT PRESENT TIME....

Let’s face it, this isn’t the best situation you or your loved one has ever been in. It’s a frustrating time and can be very stressful. On top of all the emotions that you are dealing with is the fact that you are now responsible for bail. If this is your first experience dealing with this, it can be overwhelming to say the least. Of course there are the obvious questions like what bail bond company should I use, but there are other things that are just as important that sometimes get overlooked. Here are a few examples:

Do I need a bail bond agent?
What are the terms to a bail bond agreement?
Can I get a co-signer application?
Are there bail bond financing options?
The court hearing, how does it work?
I’m from out of state, does this all apply to me?
What other options do I have?

To say this covers all the questions one may have about the bail bond process would be ignorant. Although there aren’t a lot of alternatives out there, you do have options. Our goal here is to provide you with enough bail bond information to allow you to make a very educated decision and also provide you with help that you may potentially need. The reason we feel we can offer a superior service is because we know what it is like to be in your shoes. That includes you as the individual in need of a bail bond, as well as you the friend or loved one that is helping provide the bail bond money. It’s hard to show empathy or to even act like you care when you haven’t been in the shoes of the person you are trying to help and relate to. In these type of situations there will always be a wall and a barrier that can never be removed entirely. For some of you this is your first time in this scenario and for others, you have been here a number of times already. We don’t know the situation and don’t hold any judgement about what has happened, it’s not our place and as part of our contract we will not dig any deeper than we absolutely have to. We remember the feeling of helplessness and hopelessness and anxiety that accompanies this time. We are here for you.

To figure out what your bail bond will cost, it would be wise to give us a call and we can walk you through the cost calculator using our costs as well as the fees that are associated on top of everything else. It would be ludicrous for us to try and include pricing here since every case is so unique and different. We set our prices where they are at for a reason and contrary to what other companies would suggest, we ask that you go get multiple quotes from other bail bond websites. As part of this process, you will be asked to fill out an application and a few different forms.

Whether the defendant, or someone else, pays for the bond premium or obtains a payment plan, as the co-signer, you are responsible if the defendant does not make the payments, or if they fail to appear in court. If the defendant does not show up for all court ordered appearances, it is considered as skipping out on bail. As the co-signer you would be expected to help secure their arrest, or their return to “the bench” to appear before the judge. If you put up personal collateral (in the form of cash or property) realize that, should their bail be forfeited for failure to appear, your collateral could be at risk for the full amount of bail.

Bail is a financial arrangement that guarantees that a suspect will attend each and every court hearing as ordered by the court. In return, the suspect can be released from jail prior to a trial. If the suspect or defendant does not comply, the bail bond might be forfeited. In essence, by posting bond, you are accepting financial responsibility that a suspect will return to court at the appointed time. Bail might be cash, assets or a bond, and is determined by the court.

The Co-Signer and/or Defendant should bring the following for bond approval:

A Recent Utility Statement (statement can’t be more than 45 days old)
Proof of employment (paycheck within the last 30 days)
Alabama's Drivers License or Valid ID
Proof of US Citizenship
